CEP Visco-Elastic Band

CEP visco-elastic coating system is composed by visco-elastic paste, band and outer tape. It is used for corrosion protection at field connection welds between fitting and mainline connection zone, operating pipeline’s joints maintenance. This coating system can offer excellent anti-corrosion protection for these areas. It provides the necessary properties such as heat aging, impact resistance, creep resistance, penetration resistance, chemical resistance, etc. for long operation of oil & gas pipeline projects. ?

CEP Pressure-Sensitive Tape

The adhesive of CEP heat shrinkable pressure-sensitive tape is one kind of pressure-sensitive adhesive formed by a butyl rubber modified with other polymer. It is rolled on the crosslinked polyethylene backing to form a kind of heat shrinkable pressure-sensitive tape.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of visco-elastic and has good flexibility, fluidity over a wide temperature range of -45 ℃ ~ +130 ℃, that layer will fill the vacant place with flow of mending and coating adhesion to fill in the joint area (on PE, PP, FBE, etc.) and primer steel, the layer anti-aging, curing can provide good long-term corrosion protection of buried pipelines mending.
